What to do in My Khe Beach
My Khe beach is not only beautiful with its golden sand, palm trees, blue water and clear sky, it also attracts with many exciting beachside activities.
A large number of water sports operators can be found directly on public beach, and on the coastline of resort strips, where a selection of both fun or challenging sea activities can be booked on the spot, including: banana boats, water skiing, wakeboarding, parasailing, jet skiing, windsurfing and kayaking.
My Khe Beach is also adjacent to Non Nuoc Beach which is longer and no less beautiful than My Khe beach. From My Khe, you can get to Ling Ung Pagoda and Son Tra peninsula quite easily thanks for the close location. The view from Linh Ung Pagoda over My Khe beach and the city is one of the best view in Da Nang.
My Khe Beach’s location & How to get there
My Khe has a number of high-end resorts offering luxury services of spas and dining options. The beach is just few kilometers from the city center with the coastline running along with Vo Nguyen Giap Road. Son Tra Peninsula is located at the north end of the beach.
From Da Nang International Airport or city center: you can take a taxi to My Khe beach (5km), the fare is around 100.000-150.000VND or rent a scooter (rental fee ~150.000VND/day).
When to visit My Khe
General best time to visit My Khe is between May and October, when it’s summer time with clear sky, small waves and no storms. You might want to avoid the typhoon season from November to January, because swimming in My Khe would be impossible. For surfing, come to My Khe during September for excellent conditions. For photography opportunity, come to My Khen in sunrise and sunset.
