After collecting your baggage, exit the airport to meet outside our tour guide and driver.

Day 2: Hanoi City Tour – Dinner at a local family (B/D)

Family Fun in Vietnam 10 DaysMorning, transfer to the center, visit West Lake, the largest lake of the capital, once named “Foggy Lake” from its misty condition. Its name was changed to “West Lake” in 1573 to avoid the given name of King Le The Tong. Stop at Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in the city, originally constructed in the sixth century during the reign of Emperor Ly Nam De, thus giving it an age of 1,400 years. Have ice cream at West Lake Ice cream – Kem Ho Tay – right opposite the Tran Quoc Pagoda.

Drive to visit the Museum of Ethnology, a valuable center for the exhibition and the preservation of the cultural heritage of the 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam.

Then continue to Temple of Literature (Vietnamese name is Quoc Tu Giam) – Vietnam’s first University, which was built in 1070 in honor of Confucius, his followers, and Chu Van An, a moral figure in Vietnamese education.

Family Fun in Vietnam 10 DaysPass by Ngoc Son Temple which is located at the northern end of Sword Lake (aka Hoan Kiem Lake) and St Joseph’s Cathedral, a 19th-century neo-Gothic church built with the Notre Dame of Paris in mind. The church is a gathering place for the large Roman Catholic community of Hanoi and is also popular with tourists. Constructed when the French first occupied the city, St. Joseph Cathedral is a striking example of colonial architecture in Hanoi.

Welcome to our home in Hanoi! We are a family of 4, parents and two teenagers who speak English well. Day 3: Hanoi – Half-day to Duong Lam Village (B/L)

Meals provided: Breakfast, Lunch

This morning, enjoy a journey to Duong Lam village is a trip to trace back the origin of Vietnam’s culture and Vietnam’s traditions. Take a nice walk throughout the village. This is also a great chance to explore the architecture of ancient houses while wandering along its narrow alleyways, visit temples dedicated to the two kings born there, and most interesting of all, chat with locals living in the ancient houses which are cool in summer and warm in winter. In addition, open space and the ability to make the most of natural light are also advantages of Duong Lam.

Continue going around the village to discover the daily life and farming work of Vietnamese peasants along the terrace with a stop at two ancient houses: the biggest ancient house was built 200 years ago and the most ancient house back to 400 years ago.

Day 4: Hanoi – Mai Chau – Pom Coong – Mai Hich (B/L)

Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi, and head out for Mai Chau. On the way, you will stop at Thung Khe mountain pass to see the imposing scenery of the North- West, take a short break.

Arrive in Mai Chau, relax and have an authentic lunch with a local family of the White Thai tribe and enjoy some free time to acquaint yourself with the villagers.

Afternoon, start 2 hours biking tour through a narrow village path, see terraced rice paddies and small villages, discover the natural beauty of the valley, and encounter the culture of the ethnic minority Thai people on our visits to the Pom Coong village and Na Phon village.

Day 6: Mai Chau - Ninh Binh – Mua Cave – Thung Nham (B/L)

After breakfast, meet our tour guide and driver at your hotel lobby. Transfer to Ninh Binh via highway (2 hours driving).

Visit Mua Caves viewpoint or (Hang múa) one of the most attractive tourist places in Ninh Binh recently one of the most attractive tourist spots near Hanoi. There are many beautiful tourist spots around Ninh Binh town mostly in Trang An scenic complex one of these places in this complex are the Mua caves hang múa and its peak mountain which is a fascinating view of the nearby surroundings this is one of the most visited places in the area that you should not miss there are about 500 steps on the 2 peaks and viewpoints the highest viewpoint is the Lying Dragon Mountain (Núi Ngoạ Long) with its stone statue of Quan am (The Goddess of Mercy this is also a popular selfie spot in Ninh Binh.

Start our biking tour from Tam Coc to Thung Nham bird sanctuary. Along with that are the stunning scene of grasslands, mountains, local villages, and rice fields stretching from the start to the end of the road. The route is about 10 km long and will take you about 30 minutes to go through

The best way to discover the area is to take a boat through the flooded forest. It is a lot less popular than other boat tours in Ninh Binh, such as Trang An and Tam Coc. Return to Hanoi and arrive at your hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 7: Ninh Binh – Ha Long – Lan Ha Bay – Overnight Cruise (B/L/D)

8:00: Check out and transfer to Ha Long Bay.
 
12:00: The crew members of Mon Cheri Cruise will welcome you at No.34, Tuan Chau Marina, Quang Ninh.

12:45: You will be taken aboard our support vessel and travel from the wharf via the bay to board our luxurious craft, Mon Chéri Cruise. Welcome fresh drinks, wet towels, and a special lunch of fresh food and an assortment of appetizing delicacies will be served. You will be enchanted when decadently dining on our luxury junk. Life just doesn’t get better than this! We then set sail for Lan Ha Bay – A member of the World’s Most Beautiful Bays.

15:00: We will visit the Dark and Bright Cave, famous for its pristine natural beauty and poetic, attractive seascape of Lan Ha Bay. Here you will take some photos of the romantic, lyrical local see-sights. This is also the best time for tourists to enjoin bamboo boats or kayaking which is an interesting activity to discover the truest beauty of the limestone mountains and the blue sky of Lan Ha Bay. Afterward, visitors immerse in the emerald green water of Lan Ha Bay with exciting swimming activities or enjoy the mini pool with a jacuzzi on Mon Chéri Cruise.

16:30: Return to Mon Chéri Cruises. It is an ideal time for photography enthusiasts to capture the stunning moment of sunset at Lan Ha Bay.

17:30 – 18:30: Join the cooking demonstration and “happy hour” with buy one get 1 free.

19:30: Enjoy a romantic dinner at the restaurant on Mon Chéri Cruise.

21:00 – 22:00: Enjoy the nightlife of the bay from the top deck. Immerse yourself in music, enjoy a glass of cocktail from the bar, watch famous films, and relax on the cruise. Otherwise, you can fish squid with the sailors or simply relax in the room and watch the bay from the balcony.

Day 8: Lan Ha bay - Viet Hai Village - Three Peaches area (B/L/D)

Meals provided: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

6:00: Begin the day full of energy with the Tai Chi session and enjoy the sunrise over the bay.

6:45 – 7:15: Breakfast is served at the restaurant.

8:00 – 8:30: The guests are transferred to a day trip boat and set sail for the further Lan Ha Bay – cruising along the peaceful and quiet nature of the bay. Or you are free to relax on a cruise if you do not like to move for a day trip.

10:30 – 11:00: After reaching the Viet Hai jetty, the guest will have a great experience cycling or having a ride on an e-cart to Viet Hai village through the tropical rainforest canopy and towering limestone mountains, also surrounded by the green.

Learn about the villager’s daily life and how people built and lived in the
bamboo thatched houses; the earthen walls are made of straw and mud covered with trellis, forming walls to block rain and wind.

12:15 – 13:30: Return to the day trip boat and enjoy lunch at the restaurant while the boat is cruising to the kayaking and swimming spot.

13:30: Explore the secluded and quiet lagoon by kayak or having a swim off the boat is great fun.

16:30: Head back to the Mon Cheri Cruises to relax. Have a soak in the Jacuzzi mini pool. Enjoy the music and your favorite drinks by the pool.

17:30 – 18:30: Enjoy “happy hour” on the deck and BUY ONE GET ONE FREE. Watch the sunset falling on the bay.
Attend the cooking demonstration to learn the different types of Vietnamese spring rolls. 

19:30: Dinner is served at the Mon Cheri Cruises restaurant.

21:00 – 22:00: 
Enjoy the nightlife of the bay from the deck. Immerse yourself in music. Taste some cocktails at the bar. Otherwise, you can go squid fishing with the sailors or simply relax in the room and watch Ha Long Bay from the balcony.

Day 9: Lan Ha bay – Ha Long – Hanoi – Fly to Hue (B/Br)

Meals provided: Breakfast, Brunch

06:00: Start your day full of energy with a Tai-chi class on the deck and watch the sunrise.

06:45 – 07:15: A light breakfast is available at the restaurant with tea, coffee, traditional Pho or Bun Ca, and cakes (breakfast time can change due to the itinerary).

07:30 – 09:00: You will join the tour of Cat Ba World Biosphere by transshipment. It takes 30 minutes to transfer from Gia Luan to Trung Trang – one of the most impressive caves in Cat Ba island, Vietnam. The limestone cave has thousands of stalactites in various shapes, offering geological values with a typical cave ecosystem.

9:30: Checking out of the room. Then the lunch in the restaurant is ready for you, pay the extra fee (if any) at the reception while traveling to the port. Kindly needed pay for the costs in charge of the front desk (if any) while traveling to the port.

10:30 – 11:00: Disembark and move back to the port.

11:30 – 11:45: Arrive Tuan Chau Marina.

Day 10: Hue City Tour (B/L)

Our morning starts with the bright smiles of our enthusiastic motorcycle team and tour guide who will take you first to “Thanh Toan’s tiled roof”, one of the oldest bridges in Vietnam with similar architecture to the Japanese covered bridge in Hoi An.

Then transfer to visit the Royal Palace which has three perimeters of rampart, namely from outside to inside:

– Capital Citadel: This construction started in 1805 under the reign of Emperor Gia Long and was completed in 1832 under the reign of Emperor Ming Mang

– Royal Citadel: The Imperial City is located in the center of the Citadel where established highest offices of Viet Nam’s feudalism and sanctums honoring the cult of decreased Emperors.

– Forbidden Citadel: Located inside the Imperial City, behind the Throne Palace, the Forbidden Purple City is reserved for Emperor and his family.

Then enjoy a visit to The tomb of King Khai Dinh is located on Chau Chu Mountain near Hue in Vietnam. It was built from 1920 to 1931 taking 11 years to complete. In comparison with those of the preceding emperors, Khai Dinh’s tomb is much smaller in the surface but it is very elaborate. It is the result of the intermingling of many architectural trends: European and Asian, as well as ancient and modern.

Then we visit Conical hat village: To see and learn how the locals make the conical hat (non la). (Non la- traditional indispensable accessory expressing the hidden charm and simplicity of women).

Conclude your day at Incense stick-making village: Observe how locals make sandalwood and cinnamon incense.

Day 11: Hue – Half-day Cycling in Thuy Bieu Village (B/L)

Meals provided: Breakfast, Lunch

Embark on a boat at Toa Kham Wharf (around 08:30 am).

Stop at Dong Ba Market and buy the necessary food for the cooking class with our chief.

Visit Thien Mu pagoda – the symbol of Hue City.

Back to the boat for a scenic cruise to Thuy Bieu Village – famous for Thanh Tra fruit. 

Arrive at Thuy Bieu for a nice walk or bike around the village.
– Visit the garden – house, ancient ancestral temple and communicate with local people.
– Visit the incense-making family to discover the daily life of local people while they are working strenuously with joy and enthusiasm.
– Visit the joss paper-making family to know more about the traditional custom of Vietnamese people and know why they use joss paper, also known as ghost money, for dead people.
– Visit the paper painting family to see the countryside painting art of the young local artists.

Come back to Thuy Bieu restaurant for a cooking class, you will prepare lunch by yourself with our chief’s instruction. Then, have lunch with Hue traditional dishes you have just cooked.

Relax by steeping your foot in medicinal herb water – a traditional therapeutic practice.

Enjoy an excellent massage by blind people.

End of this tour at Thuy Bieu village (around 02:30 pm).

Day 12: Hue – Hoi An via Hai Van Pass & Lang Co Beach – Marble Mountain (B/L)

After breakfast, check out and depart for Hoi An via Da Nang.

You’ll stop on the Hai Van Pass to take a beautiful picture of the coast that looks across to Da Nang before continuing your journey to Da Nang.

Stop at the famous Marble Mountain, a cluster of five marble and limestone hills located in Ngu Hanh Son ward, south of Danang City in Vietnam. The five ‘mountains’ are named after the five elements; Kim (metal), Thuy (water), Moc (wood), Hoa (fire), and Tho (earth).  

Continue to Hoi An. On arrival, check-in at your hotel and relax.

Day 13: Hoi An – Cam Thanh Eco Tour – Ancient Town (B/L)

This morning, take a short drive to Cam Thanh Village where you will get on the iconic round bamboo basket boat, and enjoy the fresh coconut water while being immersed in the natural beauty of the nipa palm forest.

On the way, you will see the basket boat race by the local villagers.

Then, take 2 hours walking to visit:

+ Japanese Covered Bridge dates back to the 18th century and is a beautiful historical piece of Japanese architecture. It is claimed that it was created by the Japanese then living in Hoi An as a way to reach the Chinese quarter across the water. The bridge also features the sculptures of two dogs and two monkeys representing the Chinese years in which many Japanese Emperors were born along with the fact that the building of the bridge began in the year of the dog and was completed in the year of the monkey.
+ Phuc Kien Assembly Halls was built around 1690 and functions as a traditional assembly hall for the Chinese ethnic group from Fujian, China to socialize, but later was transformed into a temple dedicated to their deity named Thien Hau – the goddess of the sea who protects sailors from danger.
+ Fujian Assembly Hall bears all the fundamental features in the structure of a Chinese Assembly Hall.
+ Tan Ky’s old house is an almost perfect example of an 18th merchant’s residence in this major commercial port town.

Day 15: Hoi An – Da Nang – Fly to Ho Chi Minh (B)

Day 16: Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi Tunnels & City Tour (B/L)

This morning, visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence. The Cu Chi Tunnel system had been created a long time back, in 1948 to assist Viet Minh in the combat with French. And it was continued built over 25 years later. It was an underground city with living areas, kitchens, storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers. In places, it housed up to 10,000 people who virtually lived underground for years…. getting married, giving birth. During the American War, the entire area of Cu Chi was designated a free-fire zone and was heavily bombarded. Since 1988, two sections of tunnels have been open for visitors.

Enjoy the sightseeing at Reunification Palace formerly known as Independence Palace, built on the site of the former Norodom Palace, a landmark in Hochiminh City. Our next stop is the War Remnants Museum. Operated by the Vietnamese government, an incipient form of the museum opened on September 4, 1975, as the “Exhibition House for US and Puppet Crimes, located in the premises of the former United States Information Agency building. Continue to visit City Hall, Ho Chi Minh Monument, and Central Post Office which was constructed when Vietnam was part of French Indochina in the early 20th century. It has a neoclassical architectural style. It was designed and constructed by the famous architect Gustave Eiffel in harmony with the surrounding area. Today, the building is a tourist attraction.

Right nearby, you can see Notre Dame Cathedral, a magnificent building located in the heart of the city and was established by French colonists. This cathedral was constructed between 1863 and 1880. It has two bell towers, reaching a height of 58 meters (190 feet).

Pay a visit to Ben Thanh market, one of the earliest surviving structures in Saigon and one of the symbols of Hochiminh City, popular with tourists seeking local handicrafts, textiles, ao dai, and souvenirs, as well as local cuisine.

Day 17: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta – Ho Chi Minh (B/L)

In the morning, we leave Ho Chi Minh behind and head to Vietnam’s rice basket of the Mekong Delta. We will pass through idyllic, rural scenes until we arrive at My Tho, a peaceful town on the bank of the Mekong River.

Embark on the Tien River, sightseeing 4 islands: Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle, and Phoenix. Then visit My Tho fishing port, raft fish farming village along Tan Long and Thoi Son islands.

On Thoi Son islet: visit orchards, people’s houses, and honey bee farms, enjoying lemon honey, and specialty jams. Walk on Thoi Son village road, visit the coconut candy factory, visit the Chuong Duong eco-tourism site, or Western tourist attraction, enjoy fruit in the garden, and listen to Southern folk music.

Get on a rowed boat to explore the natural water of coconut creek. Then move on to the main boat to visit Phung islet, Dao Dua relic, crocodile farm, participate in folk games…


Have lunch at a local restaurant. Then get in our private car and return to Ho Chi Minh (3 hours driving).

Settle in and relax. The rest of the day is yours.

Thailand offers a free visa on arrival to most nationalities. Other countries including Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar offer a “visa-on-arrival” service which requires you to pay a fee at the airport, or you may prefer to obtain this in advance through the relevant embassy or a visa agent. For visa-on-arrival in Vietnam, you must submit some paperwork before you arrive.

This is an option to get your visa for Vietnam instead of getting visa at the Vietnam consulate in your country.


  • Step 1: Provide us your application details
     • Your full name (as exactly seen on your passport)
     • Your gender
     • Your date of birth
     • Your nationality
     • Your passport number
     • Your passport expiration dates ( with at least 3 vacats pagess and valid for at least 6 months)
     • Date of arrival ( dd/mm/yy)
     • Date of exit (dd/mm/yy)
     • Arrival airport
  • Step 2: Process your visa information into a visa application
    We will contact you for reviewing your visa information and then submit your application on your behalf to Vietnam Immigration department and follow other procedures pursuant to the regulations of Immigration department to get Visa approval letter granted by Immigration department.

We will send the visa approval letter via email to you after 7 working days.
After we obtain the visa approval letter from the Immigration department for you, we will forward you a scanned copy of it by email (Your visa information then have been recorded to the Visa system of the Vietnam Immigration department).


  • Step 3: Get your visa stamp on your arrival
    Just print the approval letter out, prepare 2 passport sized photos and an amount of USD for stamping fee ($25 for single entry visa; $50 for 1 month multiple entry visa ). Put all above mentioned things along with your passport in a package, then show them to Immigration officer at Vietnam arrival airports.

    Upon arrival at Vietnam’s airport, expect a simple form to fill in (or you can download here to fill beforehand), present the visa approval letter, passport, photos to the Immigration officer inside the counter and look for a place to hear your name be called to get the passport back and pay for the stamping fee. The actual process takes around 15 minutes without hassle or trouble.
