Day 1: Hue arrival

Meal Provided: No Meals.

Welcome to Hue. Up on your arrival in Hue airport/railway station, your tour guide will pick you up and transferred to your hotel in the city center.

Check in your hotel and relax after a long time on transportation.

Day 2: Hue City tour

Meal Provided: Breakfast, Lunch.

Your day starts early with a short visit to Thuy Thanh village where we can see the lively morning market. This is where the locals come to by their daily food. Nearby is the 300 years old Thanh Toan Tile-Roofed bridge and a Farmhouse Exhibition where you will see the local working tool, meet and talk to the local people.

Continue on to the Forbidden Purple City. Modeled on the Forbidden City in Beijing by the Nguyen emperors in the early 19th century, the city was badly damaged during the war but the imposing city walls surrounded by a large moat afford good views of Hué. The palace retains a feeling of its past scale and importance, with detailed stonework and pavilions and it is at the moment in the process of being restored to its former magnificence.

This afternoon, you will visit the Minh Mang Royal tomb which is one of the typical architectural styles of the Nguyen Dynasty. Continue to Thien Mu Pagoda. Lastly, enjoy a cruise downstream to watch sunset on the Perfume River, named after the tree resins and blossoms it carries on its way to the Pacific. If you want to discover more about local people life, you can visit Dong Ba market, one of the busiest markets in the area.

Day 3: Hue - Danang

Meal Provided: Breakfast.

Road journey from Hue to Da Nang: morning, you’ll be driven southward along Highway 1 to Da Nang. Please prepare your camera for nice photos of Lang Co Beach and Hai Van Pass. Arrive in Da Nang, you will visit Marble Mountains, Cham architecture & art museum in Danang.

For the rest of day, you can choose to visit:

– Danang Asia Park: no extra charge for car, (please note that all fee spending at this site is not included as entrance fee, cable car, game, food and drink… )
– Ling Ung pagoda and Son Tra Peninsular.

Day 4: Hoian ancient town

Meal Provided: Breakfast.

Morning, free time for relaxing on the beach.

Afternoon, at 3.00pm, you’ll discover Hoi An ancient town to see how the traditions of the past are treasured in the present in Hoi An on the Thu Bon River, a key international trading port between the 15th and 19th centuries – now a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its well-preserved, centuries-old streets, dwellings, temples and pagodas, touring Hoi An’s historic highlights. Explore its shop-lined streets, view the red-painted Japanese Covered Bridge – the three Chinese characters over the door mean “bridge for passers-by from afar” and tour the 200-year-old “Phung Hung” house, noted for its unique architecture. What you’ll see there will reveal much about the lives of Hoi An merchants long ago.

Visit the workshop of a traditional lantern maker for a demonstration of this time-honored craft; meet the artisans and try your skills as you create your own lantern to take home. After that, we will welcome you aboard on a traditional style boat for Dinner. Cruising along Hoai and Thu Bon River while the sun is going down behind the mountain is a romantic moment. Enjoy dinner on this boat when the dark come. Driven back your hotel and relax or continue swimming.

Day 5: Cooking Class at Organic Farm by bike

Meal Provided: Breakfast.

8:30 Pick you from your address in Hoi An, we start the day with a warm-up cycling through the its picturesque countryside. We’ll pass the local rice fields, orchards and maybe also a market for a closer look to our everyday life.
After around 1 hour, we’ll arrival at the village pier for a short basket boat ride in wandering through the channels of Nipa palms (aka Coco-palm) mangrove forest.

Disembark from the ride, we proceed to our Thanh Dong – an organic farm run by the village seniors. Here you will be welcomed by one of our farmers who will happily share with you their story about this community-based project. Following an interesting conversation, you’ll be invited to join in their daily work, such as applying organic manure, making organic pesticides to control and prevent pests, cultivate the soil for planting and watering.
On completion of the gardening, you will return to the farmer’s house and use the produce harvested from the organic vegetable garden to cook a Vietnamese lunch with our host and later, enjoy your dishes at a garden-setting table (weather permitting).

Back to your hotel at around 13:30 by bicycle.

Day 6: My Son Sanctuary

Meal Provided: Breakfast.

Transfer from your hotel in Hoi An for a half day trip to the capital and religious centre of the former Champa Kingdom. My Son, 40km southwest of Hoi An, sits in a lush green valley with dozens of red brick towers and sanctuaries dating from the seventh through the thirteenth centuries.

Your guide will take you through the museum and the holiest of sites before returning to your hotel.

Day 7: Hoian departure

Meal Provided: Breakfast.

Today is your final day. You are free to chill out and relax. Depending on your departure time, your private driver will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to the airport/railway station in time for your flight to the next destination. They will ensure you are the correct gate.

Travel Visa

Most countries in South East Asia require you to obtain a visa. Please check carefully with your travel specialist regarding specific visa requirements for each country you plan to visit as the legislation does change frequently. Thailand offers a free visa on arrival to most nationalities. Other countries including Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar offer a “visa-on-arrival” service which requires you to pay a fee at the airport, or you may prefer to obtain this in advance through the relevant embassy or a visa agent. For visa-on-arrival in Vietnam, you must submit some paperwork before you arrive.

This is an option to get your visa for Vietnam instead of getting visa at the Vietnam consulate in your country.

  • Step 2: Process your visa information into a visa application
    We will contact you for reviewing your visa information and then submit your application on your behalf to Vietnam Immigration department and follow other procedures pursuant to the regulations of Immigration department to get Visa approval letter granted by Immigration department.

We will send the visa approval letter via email to you after 7 working days.
After we obtain the visa approval letter from the Immigration department for you, we will forward you a scanned copy of it by email (Your visa information then have been recorded to the Visa system of the Vietnam Immigration department).


  • Step 3: Get your visa stamp on your arrival
    Just print the approval letter out, prepare 2 passport sized photos and an amount of USD for stamping fee ($25 for single entry visa; $50 for 1 month multiple entry visa ). Put all above mentioned things along with your passport in a package, then show them to Immigration officer at Vietnam arrival airports.

    Upon arrival at Vietnam’s airport, expect a simple form to fill in (or you can download here to fill beforehand), present the visa approval letter, passport, photos to the Immigration officer inside the counter and look for a place to hear your name be called to get the passport back and pay for the stamping fee. The actual process takes around 15 minutes without hassle or trouble.
