Day 1: Bangkok Arrival

Meal provided: no Meals

Upon arrival at Bangkok airport, our tour guide will welcome and transfer you to your hotel in Bangkok hotel (check-in time at 2:00 p.m., early check-in is not included in the price).

The glorious history of the capital of Thailand, Bangkok is closely linked to the Chakri dynasty that still reigns but does rule in Thailand.

Enjoy your free time at the hotel or wander to explore the city.

Day 2: Bangkok City tour

Meal provided: Breakfast

After breakfast, we visit the Grand Royal Palace dedicated to the ceremony of the royal family of Thailand. In the same compound is the magnificent Wat Phra Kaew which is known for the Statue of the Emerald Buddha. After visiting this complex, we continue to visit Wat Pho, a giant house of the lying Buddha. Then, we visit the Wat Traimit which is well known as the Golden Buddha.

 

Afternoon, boarding on a long tail boat for an excursion along the Chao Phraya River and many bustling interior canals that offer fantastic views of local life close by. Along the way, we stop at Wat Arun, the temple of the Aube.

Return to the hotel and free time for relaxation.

Day 3: Bangkok – Fly to Chiang Rai

Meal provided: Breakfast

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight to Chiang Rai.

On arrival at Chiang Rai airport, picked up in our private car and transferred to your hotel.

Day 4: Chiang Rai & Mae Kok river

Meal provided: Breakfast

Morning after breakfast, we will visit the local market to discover the local products. After that we visit the world famous Wat Phra Kaew where the Emerald Buddha image was once enshrined. Move on to Wat Phra Singh where one of Thailand’s most beautiful Buddha images is now enshrined. Then short drive from Chiang Rai City to Black House. Baan Dam (Black House) is the unique creation of national artist, Thawan Duchanee. Part art studio, part museum, part home, Baan Dam is an eclectic mix of traditional northern Thai buildings interspersed with some outlandish modern designs. Afternoon we will take on our boat cruise on Mae Kok river from Chiang Rai to Karen village where you can watch elephants or feed them.

End the day and transfer back to Chiang Rai.

Day 5: Chiang Rai – Mae Salong – Chiang Saen

Meal provided: Breakfast

After breakfast, we depart for northern Thailand, a wooded, mountainous and beautiful area. This morning, you will explore the surroundings and the first road you will take is the one that leads to Mae Salong. Climb up and down the green hills, covered with tea plantations. You will taste the delicious tea produced by one of the many plantations of the region, bef. From Doi Mae Salong, you will visit two villages of ethnic minorities: the village Akah of Loyo, and the village Lisu of Ban Hanygo. Afterwards continue to visit the Mae Fah Luang botanical garden


On arrival in Golden Triangle, take boat trip on Mekong River to see Thailand, Burma & Laos triangle.

Day 6: Chiang Saen – Thaton – Chiang Mai

Meal provided: Breakfast

After breakfast, you will leave the hotel for Thaton. You will make a stop on the way to the village of Patai to meet the tribe of Padong Karen, famous for its women “giraffes” who wear copper rings around their neck to lengthen it. You will then discover a traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy where an expert will explain the use of herbs, roots, plants and ointments.

In the afternoon, take the road to Chiang Mai, the capital of the North, and stop for a walk in the maze of underground galleries in Chiang Dao

Day 7: Chiang Mai city & Doi Suthep

Meal provided: Breakfast

Breakfast served at the hotel.

The morning will be mainly devoted to the walking tour of the old town with a stop at the old wall, the moat and a door of the old town. You will see the most beautiful temples of Chiang Mai: Wat Phra Singh temple, Wat Phan Tao temple, Wat Chedi Luang temple. Then you will stroll along small streets lined with traditional houses, where you will take rickshaw tour.

After that, you will take a walking through the central market of Warorot. In the afternoon you will visit the Doi Suthep hill. To brighten up your evening, browse the Night Market for yourself.

Day 8: Chiang Mai – Cooking class at Thai Farm Cooking (join-in) & Mae Ping river cruise

Meal provided: Breakfast, Lunch

Breakfast is at the hotel.

8:30 am – 2:00 pm (Join group) : You will be picked up by the school team and join the Thai Farm Cooking for Thai cooking classes in English. It will be a great experience for you to learn the recipes and tips of this succulent Thai cuisine.
– Visit a local market
– Explaining and learning about herbs and ingredients at our organic farm
– Cooking jasmine rice and sticky rice
– Pound and make a curry paste from scratch
– Choose and make one curry paste, one curry and one soup
– Cook a noodle dish and sweet dessert according to the day

Afternoon, take two hour boat trip along the Mae Ping River is an excellent way to spend an afternoon, you get to watch as the scenery along the river changes, you will also get to see many beautiful traditional teak houses as well as a lot of rural greenery along the wat.

Transfer back to hotel for your free time.

Day 9: Chiang Mai – Doi Inthanon – Chiang Mai

Meal provided: Breakfast, Lunch

Our tour today starts with a transfer to Doi Inthanon National Park. It will take approximately 2 hours to the highest peak of Thailand – Doi Inthanon National Park. On arrival, we will spend 2-3 hours trekking through the jungle following a narrow mountain trail which leads us to stunning hidden waterfall in the middle of lush jungle. Along the way before reaching the Pagagayaw Karen hill tribe village, we will pass through the farmland where you will see the coffee plantation, flowers farm and the beautiful rice terraces. Discover the Pagagayaw Karen hill tribe village and taste a cup of locally grown coffee then move on to Vachiratharn Waterfall, a 70 meters high thunderous waterfall. Enjoy the cool fresh air at the waterfall before we continue back to the ground. Afterwards you will visit the beautiful architecture of Napamaytanidol  Chidi and Phra Mahathat Napaphon Bhumisiri which build to honor the 60th birthday of King Bhumipol and Queen Sirikit.

Then transfer back to Chiang Mai.

• Comfort = 3 star hotels from US$ 40 - US$ 60 per room/ per night
• Superior = 4 star hotels from US$ 80 - US$ 110 per room/ per night
• Deluxe = 5 star hotels from US$120 - US$ 190++ per room/ per night
• High-end = Best of the best hotels from US$ 250++ per room/ per night

3. Child policy: 
• Ages 0-2: free of charge for tour. Airfares depend on Airlines's policy at booking time
• Ages 2-5: 50% of adult price. Airfares depend on Airlines's policy at booking time
• Ages 6-10: 85% of adult price & airfare fully charges
• 11 years and older: 100% (charged as an adult)

Travel Visa

Most countries in South East Asia require you to obtain a visa. Please check carefully with your travel specialist regarding specific visa requirements for each country you plan to visit as the legislation does change frequently. Thailand offers a free visa on arrival to most nationalities. Other countries including Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar offer a “visa-on-arrival” service which requires you to pay a fee at the airport, or you may prefer to obtain this in advance through the relevant embassy or a visa agent. For visa-on-arrival in Vietnam, you must submit some paperwork before you arrive.

This is an option to get your visa for Vietnam instead of getting visa at the Vietnam consulate in your country.

     • Your passport expiration dates ( with at least 3 vacats pagess and valid for at least 6 months)

  • Step 2: Process your visa information into a visa application
    We will contact you for reviewing your visa information and then submit your application on your behalf to Vietnam Immigration department and follow other procedures pursuant to the regulations of Immigration department to get Visa approval letter granted by Immigration department.

We will send the visa approval letter via email to you after 7 working days.
After we obtain the visa approval letter from the Immigration department for you, we will forward you a scanned copy of it by email (Your visa information then have been recorded to the Visa system of the Vietnam Immigration department).


  • Step 3: Get your visa stamp on your arrival
    Just print the approval letter out, prepare 2 passport sized photos and an amount of USD for stamping fee ($25 for single entry visa; $50 for 1 month multiple entry visa ). Put all above mentioned things along with your passport in a package, then show them to Immigration officer at Vietnam arrival airports.

    Upon arrival at Vietnam’s airport, expect a simple form to fill in (or you can download here to fill beforehand), present the visa approval letter, passport, photos to the Immigration officer inside the counter and look for a place to hear your name be called to get the passport back and pay for the stamping fee. The actual process takes around 15 minutes without hassle or trouble.
