Day 1
Hanoi - Nghia Lo
Meal provided: Dinner

You will take an early morning drive to the Northwestern mountainous area. Enjoy the scene on the way with changing from delta to mountain, from busy city to peaceful village.

Sa Ren Village

Passing a long way with some lumpy parts, you will arrive at Sa Ren village. You will be warmly welcomed by a Black Thai owner and enjoy time talking with friendly local people and visiting the lively village. 

At your free time, you can take a bicycle/walk to the river, waiting for buffaloes to come home along the river.

Stay overnight in Nghia Lo

Day 2
Nghia Lo - Mu Cang Chai
Meal provided: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Today will be an amazing day with driving deeply into the golden rice terrace fields. From the top of the mountain to the valley, from near to far… everywhere is covered with yellow ripe rice.

Villages in Hua Khat

Trekking to the rice fields and villages where are residents of H’mong live, you'll discover extremely simple lives and many wild characters. Yet indigenous people could not communicate with us because of the language barrier, but they are very friendly and welcome us to visit their homes.

Cai Dong – La Khat Village

Enjoy the picturesque scenery of Mu Cang Chai. The beautiful scene and simple life of the Hmong people is the highlight of your day. 

When you arrive at the Ecolodge, you check-in and rest for dinner with regional specialties.

Day 3
Mu Cang Chai - Sapa - Lao Chai - Ta Van
Meal provided: Breakfast, Lunch

Continue your trip this morning. You still can see small golden rice paddies scattered on the mountains along the way.

Tram Ton Pass

This is Viet Nam’s highest mountain pass and is considered the most beautiful stretch of road in the country. Arrive in Sapa.

Lao Chai

Lao Chai Village exudes tranquility and offers an authentic encounter with the mesmerizing terraced rice fields and the warm local ethnic culture

Ta Van

Then, we walk through rice terraces and on local paths to the Zay village of Ta Van. This is the only village in the Sa Pa area where the Dzay people live. We spend time looking around the village.

Drop off at your lovely hotel in Sapa and free at leisure.

Day 4
Sapa - Ban Khoang – Ta Giang Phin Village – Fanxipan Mount
Meal provided: Breakfast, Lunch

After breakfast, take a drive for a short road heading northwards of Sapa to O Quy Ho with several stops for magnificent landscapes of Fansipan, Sin Chai valley and especially amazing flower and vegetable farms.

Ban Khoang Village

Visit the Red Zao village of Ban Khoang, known for its lush rice terraces and cardamom farming. Spend time walking through the village to understand the local way of life.

Ta Giang Phin Village

Continue to Ta Giang Phin, home to the Black Hmong people. Enjoy a short walk along village paths, witnessing daily activities such as farming and household chores.

Fansipan Mount

Take the cable car to the summit of Fansipan, the "Roof of Indochina." Optionally, hike an additional 600 stone stairs to the peak, and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and forests (About 2 hour’s trip)  

Transfer to your hotel in Sapa and relax.

Day 5
Sapa - Weekly Market - Hanoi

A morning driving will take you from Sapa to a Weekly market. Alive with the bright colours and extravagant costumes of the local people, here you will meet Flower Hmong (Red Hmong), Black Dao, Tay, Nung, La Chi, Phu La, and other minority groups who come from far and wide to buy and sell a wide variety of goods and livestock…

Coc Ly market is a market of ethnic minority people living in the northwest of Bac Ha district. Each week, the market only has one session on Tuesday. Market: pedestrians, horse riders carrying textile products, agricultural products and cattle ... The market is divided into separate zones. Thursday: Lung Khau Nhin market

Lung Khau Nhin market is held every Thursday starting around 7.30am and closing in the early afternoon. The market is set in beautiful scenery and is very remote. The market mainly sells vegetables, seeds and livestock for the minority peoples.

Saturday: Can Cau market

Can Cau is a busy market well-known for being the largest buffalo market in Vietnam’s Northwest area. In the middle of the buffaloes, buyers and sellers, curious locals, and tourists also come here to enjoy the bustling atmosphere. Besides buffalo, they also sell brocade products, fruits and agricultural products, housewares, traditional medicine, medicinal herbs, wine, food at the market.

Sunday: Bac Ha market

Widely acclaimed not only within the country but also recognized as the most distinctive market in Southeast Asia, Bac Ha Market is a living testament to the traditional customs and lively spirit of the highland ethnic group. At this Sunday market, you can discover a variety of products: agricutural, brocade, local specialties, livestocks and poultries, farming tools, instruments, decorative plants, herbs, etc.

Drive back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi at about 6.00 PM. 

End of tour.
