Welcome to Vietnam! Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, obtain your visa and clear Immigration and Customs. After collecting your baggage, exit the airport to meet outside our English-speaking tour guide and driver. He/she will hold a signboard with your name on it.

Transfer to your hotel in Hanoi for check in (check-in time at 14:00. Early check-in has not been included).

This morning, meet our tour guide and driver at hotel lobby. We'll start the city tour by visiting:

Ho Chi Minh Complex

Including Ba Dinh Square, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House and Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum (Outside visiting as it’s closed for annual maintenance). Nearby is the famous One Pillar Pagoda built of wood on a single stone pillar designed as a lotus blossom, which is a Buddhist symbol of purity.

Temple of Literature

Vietnamese name is Quoc Tu Giam – The Vietnam’s first University, which was built in 1070 in honor of Confucius, his followers and Chu Van An, a moral figure in Vietnamese education.

Cyclo around Hanoi Old Quarter

Hanoi - Mai Chau Hideaway Resort - Biking to Go Lao Waterfall

Meet our tour guide and driver at hotel lobby. Privately transferred to Ba Khan. Enjoy the landscape along the Da river like the Halong bay on the mountain.

Upon arrival at the resort, enjoy your meal at Maichau restaurant and admire the exceptional panorama view of Da river before starting a biking trip this afternoon (If you can't cycle, our private car is available)

Biking to Go Lao Waterfall

Go Lao is a pristine, rustic small waterfall. The scenery of the waterfall is frequently described as majestic and poetic, even the difficult road has its own lively beauty with Muong houses at the foot of the mountains and the dreamy Ba Khan lake.

 Here we will visit the village, local houses on stilts which are one of the special highlights of culture, custom and tradition of Mai Chau highland people.

Mai Chau - Outdoor activities and beautiful scenery

After breakfast, enjoy the scenery here with lots of activities such as:

Boat trip and kayaking on Da River

Have fun with friends on the lake with blue water like "Diamond," the largest in the north of Vietnam. This activity takes about 45 minutes before we take a short break at a floating house.

Kayaking and climbing up to Fairy Pond

Fairy Pond is a pristine beauty that will make you fall in love at first sight for its blue like jade water. The soft morning light and calm water surface offer beautiful reflections. It's also when wildlife is most active.

After that, return to the resort by boat for lunch and relax.

Mai Chau - Ninh Binh - Hoa Lu - Trang An

After breakfast, check out and we will head to Ninh Binh. Today will also be a day for scenery and culture.

As the first capital of Vietnam, Hoa Lu Ancient Capital is famous for its rich architectural and historical landmarks, offering tourists the chance to appreciate both stunning historical scenery and unique architectural values of a bygone era.

Enjoy a leisure 2.5-3 hour Trang An boat trip through cave chains: Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Sinh Cave…experiencing mysterious views of the so-called “Ha Long Bay on land”.

Ninh Binh - Ha Long - Lan Ha Bay - Overnight Cruise

After breakfast, check out and get transferred to Ha Long Bay.

Upon arrival you will be welcomed aboard and begin a relaxing and unforgettable cruise around the breathtaking and unique limestone karsts and islets.

The cruise vessel approaches the Ba Trai Dao (Three Peach beaches) (upon the weather), or Tra Bau area in Lan Ha Bay, a natural frontier between the provinces of Halong and Haiphong. Guests can try kayaking or simply swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the bay.

Enjoy the afternoon activities include afternoon tea, and the chef will lead a Vietnamese cooking class.

Return to the pier, get on our private car and head straight to the airport for a short flight to Hue.

Leisure cycling past Le Loi tree-lined boulevard

Get started with leisure cycling past Le Loi tree-lined boulevard, beautiful French styled architecture in the direction of Phường Đúc, literally “Foundry Ward”. Bronze casting is one of the oldest traditional crafts in Vietnam and Phường Đúc inherited the ancient bronze casting techniques dated back to 1600. Call by a bronze casting manufacturer to learn about the techniques, its products and occasionally watch through some important processes.

Family-run workshop

Visit nearby family run workshops like incense sticks, votive objects and try hands making some. More importantly, you gain a deeper understanding about Vietnamese spiritual life. Dead and ancestral worship, spirit medium ritual “Lên Đồng” and Buddhism are especially important practices.

Legacies of Nguyễn Royalty

Continue westward and turn off the main road to explore two important legacies of Nguyễn Royalty. The Tiger Royal Arena, built in 1830 to host gladiatorial duels between elephants and tigers. Beside playing as an entertainment for the emperors and his courtiers, the intended victory for the elephants represented the affirmed legitimate power of the Nguyễn. Take the secret road leading to Voi Ré “Trumpeting Elephant” temple dedicated to worship deceased war elephants of the Kings.

After breakfast at hotel, our driver transfers you to Hue Railway Station. At 7.45 AM Take the heritage train Hue to Danang. The three-hour journey train treats visitors to breathtaking sights, including Lang Co Bay, Hai Van Pass, and Tien Sa Beach. Hue specialties are on sale (your own account) at the cuisine carriage where you also find a group of artists playing Hue chamber music, amidst a décor that pays homage to ancient royal traditions.

Arrive Danang at 10.35 AM, our driver transfers you to your hotel in Hoi An.

My Son Sanctuary - Thanh Ha Pottery Village - Hoi An Ancient Town

A historic Hindu temple complex built between the 4th and 14th centuries by the kings of Champa. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1999, My Son is considered one of the most important Hindu temple complexes in Southeast Asia.

Thanh Ha Pottery village

Take a boat trip on the Thu Bon River to visit Thanh Ha Pottery village, known for its traditional pottery-making craft. Tourists can observe artisans at work, learn about the pottery-making process, and even create their own pottery with guidance from local craftsmen (fees are at the guests' expense).

Hoi An Ancient Town

Explore its narrow lane lined with centuries-old houses showcasing Chinese, Japanese, French, and European architectural influences. Formerly known as Independence Palace, built on the site of the former Norodom Palace, a landmark in the city.

Board the boat at a pier and cruising on the Mekong River. Here, overlooking floating houses where fishes are farmed beneath the house.

Visit the brick kilns where you can see how the local people create beautiful potteries clay. Then, visit of the local workshops where you can see how to make rice paper, coconut candy and pop-rice, pop-corn. Enjoy some kinds of candies with a cup of hot tea.

The orchard & traditional house of Ut Trinh family

Then, we can walk in 15 minutes to visit the orchard & traditional house of Ut Trinh family and have local lunch nearby her house we will enjoy some kinds of fruits and tea when listening to the traditional music. Walk around the fruitful orchard to see a variety of tropical fruits… One more thing to do in this trip is biking! It will be so amazing to bike on village paths to see the local farms, houses, monkey bridge, real life…
