Welcome to Vietnam.

Upon arrival at Noi Bai Airport, obtain your visa and clear Immigration and Customs. After collecting your baggage, exit the airport to meet outside a local English speaking guide then transfer to your lovely hotel. Check in and enjoy rest of the day at leisure.

Ha Noi Full day city tour

This morning, meet your local guide at hotel lobby and start to explore the city.

Ho Chi Minh Complex

Including Ba Dinh Square, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House and Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum (Outside visiting as it’s closed for annual maintenance). Nearby is the famous One Pillar Pagoda built of wood on a single stone pillar designed as a lotus blossom, which is a Buddhist symbol of purity.

Temple of Literature

Vietnamese name is Quoc Tu Giam – The Vietnam’s first University, which was built in 1070 in honor of Confucius, his followers and Chu Van An, a moral figure in Vietnamese education.

Vietnam Museum of Ethnology

A valuable centre for the exhibition and the preservation of cultural heritages of the 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam.

Hanoi Old Quarter

Take a cyclo tour in Hanoi Old Quarter – 36 streets and guilds to discover the ancient feature of Hanoi and daily life. Stop to visit Ngoc Son Temple which is located at the northern end of Sword Lake (aka Hoan Kiem Lake). From the shore, walking on the Welcoming Morning Sunlight Bridge leads to the island.

Hanoi - Ninh Binh - Hoa Lu - Tam Coc
Meal provided: Breakfast, Lunch

Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi city to depart for Ninh Binh province (120 Kms).

Hoa Lu Ancient Capital

As the first capital of Vietnam, Hoa Lu Ancient Capital is famous for its rich architectural and historical landmarks, offering tourists the chance to appreciate both stunning historical scenery and unique architectural values of a bygone era.

Tam Coc

Start your scenic bicycle ride to Tam Coc. Then, enjoy hours of excursion by small boat along the Ngo Dong River through a scenic landscape dominated by rice fields and karst towers. The route includes floating through Tam Coc – the three natural grottos (Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba), the largest of which is 125m long with its ceiling about 2m high above the water. The boats are typically rowed by one or two local women who also sell embroidered goods.

Drive back to Hanoi and relax.

Day 4
Ha Noi - Ha Long Bay cruise
Meal provided: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

08:30  The driver picks you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. Enjoy the landscape of the Red River Delta on the way to Ha Long Bay.

Ha Long Bay - Ha Noi - Flight to Ho Chi Minh city

Revitalize with a 30-minute Tai Chi session on the sundeck or Sky Lounge (weather permitting).

Trung Trang Cave

Take a guided walk-through Trung Trang Cave on Cat Ba Island, with around 30 minutes to explore.

Prepare for Departure

Return to the boat for a quick freshen-up and finish packing. Then enjoy a scenic brunch as we approach the pier. Disembark and relax at the pier while awaiting your return transport.

Discover the fascinating underground network of Cu Chi Tunnels, built by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the struggle for independence. Learn about the tunnel system’s living spaces, kitchens, and command centers, and the resilience of those who lived and fought underground.

Formerly known as Independence Palace, built on the site of the former Norodom Palace, a landmark in the city.

War Remnants Museum

A unique museum in Vietnam to systematically study, collect, conserve and display exhibits on war crimes and consequences inflicted on the Vietnamese people by foreign aggressive forces.

City Hall, Ho Chi Minh Monument & Central Post Office

Ho Chi Minh city - Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh city
Meal provided: Breakfast, Lunch

In the morning, we leave Ho Chi Minh behind and head to Vietnam’s rice basket of the Mekong Delta. We will pass through idyllic, rural scenes until we arrive at My Tho, a peaceful town on the bank of the Mekong River.

Vinh Trang Pagoda

An iconic structure in the region built in early 19th century. Initially, the pagoda was simply a workshop where the owners practiced during their retirement in the neighborhood.

Cruise on the Mekong River

Board the motorboat at a pier and cruising on the Mekong River. Here, overlooking floating houses where fishes are farmed beneath the house.

Unicorn Island

Here you'll  a ride to reach a performance site where Vietnamese traditional music can be heard and seasonal tropical fruit can be tasted (included).

Hand-rowed boat trip

Get on a small hand-rowing boat to slowly cruise through a small creek with beautiful overhanging coconut trees. Lives both sides of the creek can be observed.

Local factories in Mekong Delta

Before heading to lunch, passing through a bee-keeping farm, and enjoying honey tea, a typical Mekong house can be viewed here. Continue traveling to learn the coconut candies-making process a workshop. A sample of candies can be tasted.

Transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 8
Ho Chi Minh city – Flight to Siem Reap
Meal provided: Breakfast;Dinner

After breakfast, transfer directly to the Airport for your onward flight to Siem Reap.

Upon arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, meet our local guide and transfer to the hotel for check-in (Early check-in is NOT included and subject to the hotel’s availability).

Preah Ang Check Preah Ang Chom

It is the biggest local shrine in the city center. Locals throng here to pray for luck, especially newlyweds, and it is an atmospheric place to visit in the late morning or late afternoon, as the incense smoke swirls around.

Wat Preah Prom Rath

It is a functioning Buddhist monastery featuring a typical Khmer-style pagoda, a courtyard with statues depicting different Buddhist beliefs, and a hall surrounded by hand-painted picture walls containing a giant statue of seated Buddha and a reclining Buddha.

Streetfood Dinner

This evening, meet your guide and we walk through the street foot hall where all the locals come for a picnic and drinks after work. You are invited to taste some snacks, drinks, and fruits as much as you can before we go to one of the local restaurants for dinner along with the Khmer Classic Live Band (black forest).

Angkor Temples visit

This morning, meet our guide and driver to start your journey of the day.

Angkor Wat Temple

Be amazed by the sheer size of the temple and learn how the Khmer Empire prospered between the 9th and 13th centuries, around the time when Angkor Wat was built. Stroll through the intricately carved hallways that show hundreds of fine carvings and discover small shrines still in use today by the local people.

Angkor Thom

Is the ancient royal city of the Khmer Empire with its centerpiece.

Ta Prohm

This beautiful temple is overgrown with fig trees, giving a haunting yet exotic atmosphere. The magnificent roots of the trees have merged over the centuries with the temple’s huge stone blocks, emphasizing a ‘forgotten city’ feeling.

Bayon temple

You will notice the enigmatic faces of former King Jayavarman VII looking in every direction. Continue to the Terrace of the Elephants, which served as a platform from where the King could welcome back his victorious army, and the Terrace of the Leper King, which holds detailed carvings winding along a narrow passageway that leads to the Baphuon complex.

Day 10
Tonle Sap Lake – Siem Reap Departure

Floating village on Tonle Sap Lake

Drive about 45 minutes to the countryside, stopping en route to visit a local village. Arrive at the quay and board a local boat for a 1.5-hour ride on the Tonle Sap Lake (Chong Kneas Floating Village), also known as the Great Lake of Cambodia. Find out how communities live and work on the lake, see the floating schools, markets, and police stations, among others and observe their daily lives. 

If time permits, visit the old market and artisans in Dángkor before transferring to the airport for departure. 

End of tour.
