Day 1
Bangkok Arrival
Meal provided: No Meal

Upon arrival at Bangkok airport, you will be greeted and transferred to the hotel. 

The glorious history of the capital of Thailand, Bangkok is closely linked to the Chakri dynasty that still reigns but does rule in Thailand. Install at the hotel and have free time for your relaxation. 

Stay overnight in Bangkok.

Day 2
Bangkok City tour
Meal provided: Breakfast

After breakfast at hotel, meet our tour guide and start a full day city tour.

Grand Royal Palace

The Grand Royal Palace of Bangkok is undoubtedly the most famous landmark in Bangkok. It was built in 1782 and for 150 years was the home of the Thai King, the Royal court and the administrative seat of government.

Wat Phra Kaew & Wat Pho

Continue to the magnificent Wat Phra Kaew which is known for the Statue of the Emerald Buddha. After visiting this complex, we continue to visit Wat Pho, a giant house of the lying Buddha. Then, we visit the Wat Traimit which is well known as the Golden Buddha.

Chao Phraya River

Afternoon, boarding on a long tail boat for an excursion along the Chao Phraya River and many bustling interior canals that offer fantastic views of local life close by. Along the way, we stop at Wat Arun, the temple of the Aube. 

Return to the hotel and have free time for relaxation. 
Stay overnight in Bangkok.

Day 3
Bangkok – Maeklong Train market – Floating market – Kanchanaburi
Meal provided: Breakfast

Early in the morning, we drive southwest of Bangkok.

Markets visiting

Visit the Maeklong railway market, taking photo, and enjoying the local snack in the market before driving to Damnoen Saduak - a rural floating market. Stop for a motor boat trip along the waterway to the picturesque floating market of Damnoen Saduak.

Kanchanaburi

We then continue the road to the city of Kanchanaburi. Upon arrival, visit the World War II memorial including the Jeath War Museum, Cemetery. Lunch is served in a floating restaurant next to the Kwai River Bridge (by your own account). We will take 30 minutes train to experience and enjoy the beautiful view from train along the river. This is one of Southeast Asia's historic railways, the remaining part of the "Death Railway", departing from the provincial capital to the Railway Station from Tonburi (or Namtok).

Stay overnight in Kanchanaburi.

Day 4
Kanchanaburi – Ayutthaya
Meal provided: Breakfast

After breakfast, we will depart to Ayutthaya, it takes about more than hour to reach the former Thai capital.

Ayutthaya

Witness the glory of the ancient capital through its temple and palace ruins. First you will visit Wat Phu Khao Thong, or the “Monastery of the Golden Mount”, which is located just outside Ayutthaya. Then you will proceed to the ancient palace and Wat Phra Si Sanphet. You will also visit Viharn Phra Mongkol Bopit, one of the largest bronze Buddha’s in Thailand.

Wat Lokaya Sutha

You will have chance to visit Wat Lokaya Sutha, this temple enshrines a large reclining Buddha image. 

Stay overnight in Ayutthaya.

Day 5
Ayutthaya – Bangkok – Flight to Chiang Rai
Meal provided: Breakfast

We will spend the morning visit then transfer back to Bangkok for your onward flight to Chiang Rai.

Bang Pa-In Summer Palace

Morning we visit will be the Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, built during the Ayutthaya era. The palace showcases an eclectic collection of buildings that blend European, Khmer, Thai and Chinese architectural styles. It’s the favorite summer palace of the King

We then transfer back to Bangkok for flight to Chiang Rai. On arrival, get pick up and transfer to hotel. The remaining time would be spent at your own pleasure.

Day 6
Chiang Rai city tour
Meal provided: Breakfast

After breakfast at hotel, meet our tour guide and start a full day city tour.

Chiang Rai main sites

We will visit the local market to discover the local products. After that we visit the world famous Wat Phra Kaew where the Emerald Buddha image was once enshrined. Move on to Wat Phra Singha where one of Thailand’s most beautiful Buddha images is now enshrined. Then short drive from Chiang Rai City to Black House. Baan Dam (Black House) is the unique creation of national artist, Thawan Duchanee. Part art studio, part museum, part home, Baan Dam is an eclectic mix of traditional northern Thai buildings interspersed with some outlandish modern designs.

Boat cruise on Mae Kok River

In the afternoon we will take on our boat cruise on Mae Kok River from Chiang Rai to Karen village where you can watch & feed elephants. 

Stay overnight in Chiang Rai. 

Day 7
Chiang Rai – Golden Triangle – Chiang Mai
Meal provided: Breakfast

After breakfast, we will have a drive to visit Chiang Saen the ancient city located on the Khong River Bank.

Golden Triangle

Visit to Opium museum where show about the opium’s history in the past in Thailand. Have lunch (on your own account) at the local restaurant at the Golden triangle. Taking a boat trip along Mekong Kong River to see Thailand, Burma & Laos meet at the Golden Triangle. 

In the afternoon, take the road transfer back to Chiang Mai

Stay overnight in Chiang Mai.

Day 8
Chiang Mai city & Doi Suthep
Meal provided: Breakfast

After breakfast we will be mainly devoted to the walking tour of the old town with a stop at the old wall, the moat and a door of the old town.

Beautiful temples

You will see the most beautiful temples of Chiang Mai: Wat Prah Singh temple, Wat Phan Tao temple, Wat Chedi Luang temple. Then you will stroll along small streets lined with traditional houses, where you will take rickshaw tour. After that, you will take a walking through the central market of Warorot

Doi Suthep hill

In the afternoon you will visit the Doi Suthep hill. To brighten up your evening, browse the Night Market for yourself. 

Stay overnight in Chiang Mai. 

Day 9
Chiang Mai – Mae Sapok trekking
Meal provided: Breakfast, Lunch

After breakfast, departure from your hotel in local truck for a day of trekking in the villages of the white Karen tribe. You start with a walk in the jungle (around 2 hours) to the village where you meet and interact with the villagers.

Continue walking in the jungle (about an hour) to go to the beautiful waterfall. You will enjoy a relaxing swim and picnic lunch.

In the afternoon, you take a pleasant bamboo raft ride along the river.

Return to Chiang Mai around 17h – 17h30. 

Stay overnight in Chiang Mai.

Day 10
Chiang Mai departure
Meal provided: Breakfast

The morning would be free to do whatever takes your fancy until taking transfer to the airport for your flight to next destinations.
