Fly to HANOI, VIETNAM
Welcome to Vietnam.
Upon arrival at Hanoi Airport, exit the airport to meet outside a local Guide of Asianway Travel. He/she will be holding a sign with your names on it. Please note that local guides are not allowed inside the airport. They will take you to your hotel in the city centre.
In the afternoon/evening, you will take a walking tour in the Old Quarter and taste street food.
Overnight in Hanoi
In the early morning, you will be transferred to Ninh Binh province. After 2 hours driving, you will arrive in Van Long.
Up on arrival in Van Long house on stilt, you'll get bicycle, biking to the village which appear in the movie and through hamlets, visiting temples, pagodas, common house and countryside market… (7km).
At Cau Vang hamlet (golden bridge) at Gia Hoa commune, you will take part in the activities of farming work as: Catching crabs, fishing, transplanting rice in the field and bail out water about one hour.
You will bike back to the house-on-stilt; join with local family cooking lunch.
In the afternoon, continue to bike to watering place. You will pass by Meo Cao mount and arrive at Van Long wharf. From here, you will take a hand rowing sampan in 2 hours on the place of movie studio: Van Long wetland reserve.
Rowing back to the wharf and biking to house-on-stilt. Get back to your van for driving to Tam Coc. If time permit, you can hike up to Mua Cave for nice view of Tam Coc area and enjoy Sun set view.
Overnight in Tam Coc
In the morning, you will take a driving to Halong bay.
After 4 hours driving, Halong bay will be waiting for you there.
12h30 – 13h00: Embark on Cruise followed by a short cruise briefing.
13h30 – 14h30: Savor a delectable lunch as V’Spirit Classic cruises among the limestone islands.
15h00 – 16h00: Explore the amazing Sung Sot Cave – the most beautiful cave in Halong Bay.
16h00 – 17h00: Cruising to Titov island. Go swimming and relaxing at the beach of Titov or climb up to the top of the island for a panorama view of Halong Bay.
17h00 – 17h30: Return to the main boat and continue cruising to the quiet area while enjoy beautiful seascape on the way.
17h30 – 19h00: Enjoy Sunset Party on sundeck and admire the best moments of the day when the sun starts to set.
19h00: Dinner is served. Socialize with other guests, take part in board games, fish for squid, or just laze around.
Overnight on board in Halong Bay
06h30 – 07h15: Start your day with Tai Chi exercises or a photo hunt.
07h30 – 08h30: Have breakfast on board and enjoy the peaceful morning of Halong Bay.
09h00 – 10h00: Kayak among the hidden areas of the bay, around the Bo Nau area.
10h15: Return to the boat. Freshen up and check out of your cabin.
10h15 – 11h00: Continue your cruise exploring the Bay, passing Ba Hang fishing village, Dog Islet, and more.
11h00 – 12h15: While heading back to the harbor, watch the fruit carving demonstration and participate in the Cooking Class before enjoying a traditional Vietnamese lunch.
12h15 – 12h30: Disembark V’Spirit Classic.
12h30 – 13h00: Transfer back to Hanoi.
Trip finishes at around 17h00.
You have free time to discover the city before taking a taxi by your self to Hanoi railway station for night train to Dong Hoi. Train code SE3 22.00 – 08.00 next day.
Overnight on night train
You will be welcomed by our tour guide and driver at Dong Hoi railway station and transfer to your hotel.
Store your luggage at the hotel and start your trip to discover the Kingdom of cave.
Cycling along Son River to reach to Bong Lai village with the opportunity to join in local farming activities in the rice paddies or peanut fields or learning how Vietnamese style popcorn is made.
Stop at Gia Hung village, where there is a local rice wine shop which is known as the best in the area.
Learn how to make rice wine - you are invited to taste some but not drink now!
Leaving the village, you will take a local ferry to reach to the other bank of Son River.
From here, we will cycle on unpaved roads paths.
After some uphill, descend into Bong Lai valley where we will see the Bong Lai River.
Stop at a recently famous attraction of Phong Nha – the Pub with a cold beer.
Take your cold beer or soft drink and enjoy the view from the hill in the fresh air.
Lunch with pork cooked in bamboo tree will be served at the Wild Boar Farm, where you will be touring the farm guided by the local couple who owns the farm.
Free until time to cycle back the town via the paths that are off the beaten track, cross many beautiful rice fields (Jan-Aug)

After a safety briefing and gear check, you need to sign our Release Form before it’s off and away for a full day of trekking.
The trek begins with a 2.5 km march across fields of peanut crops, giant water buffaloes, towering corn stalks, and down to the Rao Nan River.
The adventure accelerates with a 30 m climb up a rocky hill to a small jungle opening where you can catch your breath before a 100 m descent in elevation down to Hung Ton Valley.
Lunch will be enjoyed in the Hung Ton Cave opening.
Then the adventure picks up again with some serious trekking from Hung Ton Valley and over to Mango Mountain, then back down into Tu Lan Valley (3 km).
By mid afternoon, Tu Lan campsite will be on the horizon, where swimming can be enjoyed in the beautiful waterfall. Afternoon activities include exploring and swimming through Ken Cave, located next to the campsite, and after that it’s back to camp for a delicious BBQ dinner.
Sleep will come easy in comfortable hammocks or tents set up among the trees!
The second day starts with a hearty breakfast, and more cave exploration.
Starting with a brief swim across the river into the heart of Tu Lan Cave System, you will break to enjoy the blue lagoon entrance before making your way 180 m downstream through Tu Lan Cave entrance. Making your way up to explore the dry part with some climbing and squeezing, at which point you will reach the dry exit and trek a short way through valley into Kim Cave dry entrance.
Stay for a while to watch out for a natural window in Kim Cave, and you’ll then be off on a swim (450 m) and trek (500 m) through Hang Kim to To Mo Valley.
A picnic lunch will be served next to a stunning waterfall by Hung Ton Cave mouth. Then, you will try to follow a dry path before swimming out through Hung Ton wet cave.
Following this is the exploration of a dry passage, and then a trek down into Hung Ton Valley (800 m).
Arrival in Tan Hoa is followed by a chance to take in the scenery with a cold drink in hand.
Showers are available for those who would like to clean up and change, and then departure back to Phong Nha is at around 4 pm, with arrival in Phong Nha by 5:30 pm.

*NOTE: the trip to Tu Lan Cave is available with weekly departure on Tuesday, Thurday and Satudays, on a join-in basis (minimum 2 pax and maximum 1o pax). It is advised to book in advance as this is a popular tour and the number of guest is limited.
This tour is operated from November to mid-September (closed from mid-September to the first week of November). So during the closed time, we will suggest you other activities in Quang Binh.
