In the morning, we start our day tour by visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. The mausoleum is the last resting place of Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam’s beloved leader. It is a symbol of gratitude and respect of Vietnamese people for president Ho Chi Minh. Closed by, the famous One Pillar Pagoda which is built of wood on a single stone pillar 1.25 m in diameter. It is designed to resemble a lotus blossom, which is a Buddhist symbol of purity, since a lotus blossoms in a muddy pond.
After that, continue to visit the Museum of Ethnology and Temple of Literature (Vietnamese name is Quoc Tu Giam) - The Vietnam’s first University, which was built in 1070 in honor of Confucius, his followers and Chu Van An, a moral figure in Vietnamese education.
Afternoon, visit Bat Trang ceramic village, the village is 13 km southwest of Hanoi center, on the other side of the Red River. The village was said to be established in 14th century and the village is famous for ceramic and pottery products of high quality. The village specialized in large - scale pottery and porcelain production using traditional methods. Stop at a small family factory to see how they manufacture their products. Watch the artisans form, paint and glaze their products and you will have a chance to practice your talent with wet clay and a mold. Or you can join the drawing class in the factory.
Back to Hanoi for stay overnight.
Morning, private transfer to Halong bay with your guide. On arrival, boarding on boat and settle at your cabin and enjoy a seafood lunch while cruising around amaze islets amid dramatic natural scenery. On the way to visit Sung Sot Cave – one of the most impressive caves in Ha Long, you have time relaxing on boat and admire magnificent limestone such as Dinh Huong mount, Ga Choi (cock Fighting Mount), you also visit floating villages. Keep sailing on the bay to Hidden Cave, stop for kayaking, swimming, snorkeling in emerald water, admiring sunset. Enjoy a fresh seafood dinner before having good time of squid fishing and retiring to sleep in your cabin.
Greeting by the morning sun rise from the sea horizon, you can join a Tai Chi lesson for some morning exercise before breakfast. Continue boating to explore some of the bay’s truly awesome scenery – vertical and unusual rocks and islets emerge from the sea. If weather permitting, there will be an opportunity to swim in the clear waters.
Boat disembarks around 11:00 am then transfer back Hanoi.
On arrival, visit Ngoc Son Temple which is located at the northern end of Sword Lake. Enjoy a water puppet show. Water puppetry - " puppets that dance on water"- is a tradition that dates back as far as the 11th century when it originated in the villages of the Red River Delta area of northern Vietnam. Today's Vietnamese water puppetry is a unique variation on the ancient Asian puppet tradition. Transfer to the train station for a night train to Lao Cai. Stay overnight on train (04 pax per cabin)

This morning, you arrive at Lao Cai station. A private bus will pick you up and transfer to Sapa. Sapa is notable as a hill resort, a market town for timber and love trade and known as the "queen of mountains". On arrival, enjoy a delicious breakfast at a local restaurant. Then start a day walking tour to visit Lao Chai & Ta Van Village, Silver Waterfall and Heaven Gate. Rest of the day is free for you to relax in the hotel and discover the lovely small town.
Stay overnight in Sapa.

Step 3: Send the visa approval letter via email to you after 2 working days
After we obtain the visa approval letter from the Immigration department for you, we will forward you a scanned copy of it by email (Your visa information then have been recorded to the Visa system of the Vietnam Immigration department).
Step 4: Get your visa stamp on your arrival
Just print the approval letter out, prepare 2 passport sized photos and an amount of USD for stamping fee ($45 for single entry visa; $65 for 1 month multiple entry visa and $95 for 3 multiple entry visa). Put all above mentioned things along with your passport in a package, then show them to Immigration officer at Vietnam arrival airports.
Upon arrival at Vietnam’s airport, expect a simple form to fill in (or you can download here to fill beforehand), present the visa approval letter, passport, photos to the Immigration officer inside the counter and look for a place to hear your name be called to get the passport back and pay for the stamping fee. The actual process takes around 15 minutes without hassle or trouble.
What are the differences between this process and getting visa at Vietnam embassies?
It is only applicable for those who travel to Vietnam by air. You only need fill out the visa application form online instead of visiting the Vietnam embassies or sending documents to Embassies over by post.The online visa application does not require sending your passport away.You get a visa approval letter issued by Vietnam Immigration Department indicating that you are allowed to enter Vietnam and have your visa stamped upon arrival at one of Vietnam international airports.
