After breakfast, you will be picked up and transferred to Ben Tre, the country of coconut. Up on arrival in My Tho you will get on boat, cruising along Tien River and enjoy the scenes of 4 islets Dragon, Unicorn, Tortoise and Phoenix. The boat will stop for visiting My Tho fish wharf, fishing villages in Tan Long Islet.

You will disembark the boat to visit Thoi Son Islet where you will visit fruit gardens, local houses, enjoy the seasonal fruits and listen to folk music of the area. You will get on a hand-rowing sampan to explore natural water palm trees in quiet arroyos. Ben Tre province welcomes you with coconut candy firm, bee farm and jams.

Lunch at a local restaurant. We will keep driving to “Le Jardin du Mekong”, stop en-route for visiting a village of bonsai.

In the afternoon, settle in the inhabitant and free time to enjoy the natural environment and the beauty of the places.

Evening: foot bath with lemongrass leaves from the garden. Night in a wooden bungalow

After breakfast, bicycle ride with owners to the local market, purchase of foods used to prepare lunch.

Afternoon: drive through Mekong Delta to Soc Trang. On arrival in Soc Trang, you will be welcomed by the warm host family. Check-in your home-stay before taking a biking/walking around the area for visiting the villages, rice paddy, gardens… Your day will finish at a Khmer pagoda before getting back to home-stay

After breakfast, walk or ride your bicycle through Khmer villages such Canh Dal, Tra Khao, Giong Lon to see how local people make their living or talk to the local elderly about wars that happened in the areas. After that, get on the bus awaiting at the big road to go to Cau Ke Market area where you will visit the market and the Huynh Ky ancient house. After that, drive back to the family for lunch.

Let your feeling immerse deeply in the atmosphere of Mekong Delta when driving from Tra Vinh to Soc Trang. You will pass through the fields, villages, and rivers. Arrive in Soc Trang, you will visit the Doi pagoda which is one of the most famous ones in Soc Trang with beautifully fascinating architecture and scenery. One special thing about this pagoda is there are many bats. The bats hang on the trees during the day in the pagoda garden. Next, you will visit Buu Son Pagoda. The pagoda is also named Clay because there are thousands of clay statues. It is also famous for owning very big 4 pairs of candles. They estimate that each candle can be fired in 70 years.

You will take an early drive to the wharf for the morning speed boat to Con Dao Island. The Island welcomes you with cool weather. There might be some rain, but don’t worry, rain comes in go very quickly, in about 1 hour. The rain makes the air refresh and sunlight comes back soon and shines. It is time for you to discover the beauty of the Island as well as its history.
