Mang Den Ecotourism Area is located 50km away from Kon Tum city following the national highway 24 to the east. The complex is on an altitude of 1,200m above sea, sees a wonderful combination of many kinds of landscape.
Mang Den lies between Mang Den pass and Violak pass, the path leading to the area can be dangerous in rainy season. During harvesting months, the terraced rice fields on the way to Mang Den turn golden making a scenery quite similar to the fields in northwest highlands of Vietnam. The pine forest covers both sides of the road to Mang Den, fills the lungs of travelers the refreshing scent of this tree.
The things make Mang Den famous must be its cool climate and peaceful landscape. This is the best place for you to rest and enjoy the nature. Mang Den ecotourism area’s most special features are 7 lakes and 3 waterfalls which were the reason for the name “the land of seven lakes and three falls” people gave this place. Besides, you can also visit Marian Statue located not far from the ecotourism area. This statue is built in the French revolution time, by French troops.
