Day 1
Arrival – Hanoi

Welcome to Vietnam.

Upon arrival at Ha Noi Airport, obtain your visa and clear Immigration and Customs.
After collecting your baggage, exit the airport to meet outside a local English speaking guide. the airport, you will be privately transferred to your lovely hotel.
Settle in and enjoy the rest of day at leisure.

Day 2
Hanoi – Full-day city tour
Meal provided: Breakfast, Lunch

Start a new day by visiting Ho Chi Minh Complex, an important place of pilgrimage. A traffic-free area of botanical gardens, monuments, memorials and pagodas, it’s usually crowded with groups of all ages, all over the nation, who has come to pay their respects. Within the complex you can visit Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum (Outside visiting as it’s closed for annual maintenance), Ba Dinh Square, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House.
Closed by, the famous One Pillar Pagoda which is built of wood on a single stone pillar 1.25 m in diameter. It is designed to resemble a lotus blossom, which is a Buddhist symbol of purity, since a lotus blossoms in a muddy pond.

After that, continue to visit the Temple of Literature (Vietnamese name is Quoc Tu Giam) – The Vietnam’s first University, which was built in 1070 in honor of Confucius, his followers and Chu Van An, a moral figure in Vietnamese education.

Have lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, you are transferred to visit Vietnam Museum of Ethnology. Almost no foreign tourists to Hanoi refuse to visit the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, where they can look a vivid picture of the miniaturized Vietnamese ethnic community’s life. Take a cyclo in Ha Noi Old Quarter – 36 streets and guilds to discover the ancient feature of Hanoi and daily life. Stop to visit Ngoc Son Temple which is located at the northern end of Sword Lake (aka Hoan Kiem Lake). the shore, walking on the Welcoming Morning Sunlight Bridge( The Huc bridge) leads to the island.

Day 3
Hanoi – Ninh Binh province (Hoa Lu - Tam Coc)

Travel to Ninh Binh province. On arrival, visit Hoa Lu temple – The ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th and 11th centuries. Enjoying the 11th & 17th-century architecture style, old sculpture – carving on wood & stone depicting the daily lives, dreams and wishes for peace, good life, etc.

Hoa Lu Temple, start your fun bicycle ride to Tam Coc. You cycle on paved roads, through rice fields and local agricultural villages. Most of the bicycle ride is on a peaceful inter-communal route where the traffic is not too busy.

Then, enjoy hours of excursion by small boat along the Ngo Dong River, beginning at the village of Van Lam and proceeding through a scenic landscape dominated by rice fields and karst towers. The route includes floating through Tam Coc – the three natural grottos (Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba), the largest of which is 125m long with its ceiling about 2m high above the water. The boats are typically rowed by one or two local women who also sell embroidered goods.
Have lunch at local restaurant before driving back to Hanoi.

Day 4
Ha Noi - Tuan Chau – Dark and Bright Cave - Lan Ha Bay Anchorage

Meals provided: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Transportation: cruise Limousine

08:00 – 08:30 Luxury van picks you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. Enjoy the landscape of the Red River Delta on the way to Ha Long Bay (included)
11:45 - 12:00 Guests are transferred by speedboat/tender Indochina Sails’s Tuan Chau Pier to Indochine Cruise - enjoy welcome drink, listen cruise briefing and safety instructions.
13:15-14:00 Passengers enjoy Lunch.
15:30 The crew take passengers visit the Dark and Bright (also known as Bat Cave) grotto is not only known for the stunning limestone structure at every turn but also for the interesting natural habitat. The best way to explore this cave is doing kayaking or bamboo sampan drive by local people through the tunnel so you will spend mostly your time relaxing and enjoy the quiet and natural place .
16:30 Return to cruise enjoy swimming in the bay
17:45 Depart and cruise for about 30 minutes to anchor overnight.
18:15 Attend the Fruit and Vegetable Carving Lesson led by our Head Chef. During the lesson, the chef will conduct Fruit and Vegetable carving, showing the guests how we decorate and make some traditional Vietnamese food.
19:15 Set Menu Dinner is served.
20:30 Evening activities. Board games like cards or Parcheesi are available. Also, everyone can try their luck at Squid fishing on the boat with help the crew.
22:30 End of Program for Day 1.

Day 5
Lan Ha Bay Anchorage - Trung Trang Cave - Tuan Chau - Flight to Ho Chi Minh city

Meals provided: Breakfast, Brunch

Transportation: cruise Limousine

06:00 Coffee, tea and breakfast pastries served in the dining room.

06:15 Enjoy Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck.

07:15 Cruise crew takes guests visit Trung Trang Cave on Cat Ba Island.

09:00 Guests will have 30 minutes to freshen up and finish packing. Please collect all of your belongings the cabins and leave heavy luggage outside the cabins.

09:30 Enjoy a Brunch in the restaurant. Bills are settled after Brunch. Relax on the sundeck or in the restaurant enjoying the bay scenery as we approach the pier.

11:00 Arrive at Tuan Chau port, relax inside the pier building while waiting for return transportation.

~15:00 Transfer back to drop off point in Ha Noi where you will meet your driver and have a short drive to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh city.

Upon arrival,  meet our local driver and transfer you to your hotel in city center.

Day 6
Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi Tunnel – City tour
Meal provided: Breakfast, Lunch

The first place we will explore today  famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence. The Cu Chi Tunnel system had been created a long time back, in 1948 to assist Viet Minh in the combat with French. And it was continued built over 25 years later. It was an underground city with living areas, kitchens, storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers. In places, it housed up to 10,000 people who virtually lived underground for years…. getting married and giving birth. During the American War, the entire area of Cu Chi was designated a free-fire zone and was heavily bombarded. Since 1988, two sections of tunnels have been open for visitors. 

Have lunch then transfer to Ho Chi Minh City.

In the afternoon enjoy sightseeing at Reunification Palace formerly known as Independence Palace, built on the site of the former Norodom Palace, a landmark in Hochiminh City. Continue to visit City Hall, Ho Chi Minh Monument, and Central Post Office which was constructed when Vietnam was part of French Indochina in the early 20th century. It has a neoclassical architectural style. It was designed and constructed by the famous architect Gustave Eiffel in harmony with the surrounding area. Today, the building is a tourist attraction.

Right nearby, you can see Notre Dame Cathedral, a magnificent building located in the heart of the city and was established by French colonists. This cathedral was constructed between 1863 and 1880. It has two bell towers, reaching a height of 58 meters (190 feet).

Day 7
Ho Chi Minh city - Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh city
Meals provided: Breakfast, Lunch

In the morning, we leave Ho Chi Minh behind and head to Vietnam’s rice basket of the Mekong Delta. We will pass through idyllic, rural scenes until we arrive at My Tho, a peaceful town on the bank of the Mekong River, where we will visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda.

Arrival, boarding the motorboat at a pier and cruising on the Mekong River. Here, overlooking floating houses where fishes are farmed beneath the house (viewing the motorboat).

Continuing the journey on the river until reaching Unicorn Island, here taking a ride to reach a performance site where Vietnamese traditional music can be heard and seasonal tropical fruit can be tasted (included).

Afterward, being on a small hand-rowing boat in An Khanh (the main mean of transportation in My Tho & Ben Tre) and slowly cruised through a small creek with beautiful overhanging coconut trees. Lives both sides of the creek can be observed.

Before heading to lunch, passing through a bee-keeping farm, and enjoying honey tea, a typical Mekong house can be viewed here.

Continue traveling to learn the coconut candies-making process a workshop. A sample of candies can be tasted. Back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 8
Ho Chi Minh – Siem Reap by flight - Angkor Wat
Meal provided: Breakfast, Dinner Transportation: private car
After breakfast, transfer directly to the Airport for your onward flight to Siem Reap.

Upon arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, meet our local guide and transfer to the hotel for check-in (Early check-in is NOT included and subject to the hotel’s availability). 

Visit the picturesque Ta Prohm. This beautiful temple is overgrown with fig trees, giving a haunting yet exotic atmosphere. The magnificent roots of the trees have merged over the centuries with the temple’s huge stone blocks, emphasizing a ‘forgotten city’ feeling. If time permits, continue your visit to more of the Angkor ruins, possibly including Preah Khan, Neak Pean, East Mebon, located on an islet in the center of the Eastern Baray, and Ta Son, a Buddhist temple built in the late 12th century and in a ruined state. 

Dinner at the local restaurant with Apsara Dance Show.

Day 9
Angkor Wat Sunrise & Banteay Srei
Early morning at about 5.00 am, you are transferred to visit the sunrise at Angkor Wat. Then the breakfast box will be
provided on the site. After breakfast, visit Angkor Wat, one of the modern wonders of the world. Be amazed by the sheer size of the temple and learn how the Khmer Empire prospered between the 9th and 13th centuries, around the time when Angkor Wat was built. Stroll through the intricately carved hallways that show hundreds of fine carvings and discover small shrines still in use today by the local people. 

And continue to visit Angkor Thom, the ancient royal city of the Khmer Empire with its centerpiece; the Bayon temple. As you approach, you will notice the enigmatic faces of former King Jayavarman VII looking in every direction. Your guide will take you to the Terrace of the Elephants, which served as a platform where the King could welcome back his victorious army, and the Terrace of the Leper King, which holds detailed carvings winding along a narrow passageway that leads to the Baphuon complex. Enjoy the homemade lunch in the local house. And continue to Banteay Srei, the only major temple that was not built by a monarch. It was constructed in the 10th century and was dedicated to the Hindu god - Shiva. Banteay Srei translates to “Citadel of the Women” and is one of Angkor’s most significant structures as its walls are decorated with elaborate carvings which have been preserved remarkably well. Return to hotel for a laxation.

Day 10
Siem Reap – Tonle Sap Lake – Departure

Meals provided: Breakfast

This morning, drive about 45-minutes to the countryside, stopping en route to visit a local village. Arrive at the quay and board a local boat for a 1.5-hour ride on the Tonle Sap Lake (Mychreay Floating Village), also known as the Great Lake of Cambodia. Find out how communities live and work on the lake; see the floating schools, markets, and police stations, among others; observe their daily lives. Drive back to Siem Reap, and visit the old market and Artisans in Dángkor before transferring to the airport for flight to the next destination.
End of tour.
