Day 1
Hanoi - Ha Giang
Meal provided: Lunch;Dinner

Pick up at your place in Hanoi in the early morning. Transfer to Ha Giang (5 hours driving). On the way, you can stop to take photos of corn fields and tea plantations.

Ha Thanh Village Exploration

The village has about 100 stilt houses clustered in the foothills which are home to Tay ethnic . Each stilt house is like a small museum showcasing one family or clan

Welcomed warmly by the owner of a stilt house where you will have a drink and relax after a long day.

Day 2
Ha Giang - Lung Vai village - Khuoi My - Nam Dam - Dao Lodge
Meal provided: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

This morning, check out and transfer to the trekking point

Lung Vai

Along the trek to Lung Vai, you’ll get to take in the beauty of the terraced rice paddies, majestic mountains and serene palm-tree forests. You’ll also run people many different ethnic groups along the way, such as Man and Dao, who are generally more than happy to stop and interact with travelers for a short while.

Khuoi My

Encounter farmers working in the fields, with an opportunity to join their activities if desired.

Quan Ba – Fairy Mountains

The special art created to this land by Mother of Nature. Between mountains & rice terraces are two twin mountain forms likening as two breasts of a fairy narrated by locals in this interesting fairy tale.

Ban Tha Village

Our trek ends at Ban Tha Village where our driver will pick you up and drive you to Nam Dam - a Hmong Village for overnight.

Dao Lodge – Dong Van - Lung Cu - Dong Van

Dong Van Plateau

Located at 1025m above sea level inhabited by H’mong and Tay ethinc groups, Dong Van Plateau is one of Viet Nam's special limestone areas, housing prominent imprints that depict the development of the earth’s crust.

H’mong King Palace

Also known as Dinh Vua Meo, it is a grand construction built in the late 19th century with distinctive architecture that combines many cultures and mysterious stories concerning. The ancient mansion is related to the life and career of Hmong father and his son named Vuong Chinh Duc and Vuong Chi Sinh (or Vuong Chi Thanh) accordingly. Mr. Vuong Chinh Duc (1886 - 1962) was the head of the mountainous feudal regime of the Hmong ethnic group, so he was also known by the powerful name: Hmong King.

Lo Lo Chai Village

Visit the Lo Lo minority village to learn about their culture and way of life.

Lung Cu Flag Tower

From Lo Lo, trek to Flag Tower on the top of Lung Cu mountain about 1km, and view the ancient valley the top. a distance, Lung Cu is a spectacular sight, with the view dominated by giant boulders and the national flag flying above Dragon Mountain, all set to the backdrop of magnificent forests

Transfer to your hotel in Dong Van.

Dong Van – Meo Vac – Cao Bang
Meal provided: Breakfast, Lunch

Dong Van Sunday Market

Dong Van Market in Ha Giang is a captivating cultural gem nestled amidst the incredibly stunning landscapes of Northern Vietnam. Explore the vibrant market where ethnic minorities gather to trade goods, bserve locals in traditional attire and sample fresh Pho.

Meo Vac

A small town of the Black H'mong Minority located close to the Chinese border north of the Province de Ha Giang, at the bottom of the Ma Pi Leng pass, rightly famous as the most beautiful road in Vietnam.

Then take a scenic 6-hour drive to Cao Bang. Arrive in Cao Bang and spend the rest of the day relaxing.

Stay overnight in Cao Bang.

 

Day 5
Cao Bang – Ban Gioc waterfall - Cao Bang
Meal provided: Breakfast, Lunch

After breakfast, take a drive to Ban Gioc Waterfall in Cao Bang Province. On the way to Ban Gioc waterfall, you will pass Trung Khanh which is very famous for chestnuts. Local people here sell chestnuts in a special way, price on each seed. So if you want to buy, remember to buy on the way in, so on the way out, they can finish counting the seed for you.

Ban Gioc Waterfall

Considered the largest in Southeast Asia and also known as the 4th largest water on the border line in the world. You can admire the majestic natural landscape with huge blocks of water from a height of 30m tossing white foam.

Nguom Ngao Grotto

A natural wonder nestled in Gun Village of Cao Bang Province which lies near the Vietnam-China border. This province is known for its stunning natural beauty, with lush mountains, picturesque valleys, and enchanting waterfalls. 

Drive back to Cao Bang town for checking hotel and relax.

Day 6
Cao Bang – Ba Be Lake
Meal provided: Breakfast, Lunch

After breakfast, take a scenic drive to Ba Be.

Ba Be National Park is blessed with beautiful natural scenery as well as many species inhabiting the untouched landscapes, and this attraction puts the best of that on display for travelers to have a closer look.

Ba Be Lake

Taking a boat trip to explore Ba Be Lake where you can immerse in the tranquil ambiance while cruising around the emerald water.

Day 7
Ba Be – Hanoi

Free time for your own exploration by waking up early to kayak before breakfast.

Hua Ma Cave

With its karst topography and poetic peaks, Bac Kan province offers travelers majestic landscapes and exciting discoveries. One of them is Hua Ma Cave, a hidden gem of impressive stalactites and mysterious legends.
 

After lunch, transfer back to Hanoi.
